Mauve Daboo Set
Rooted in the textile traditions of Rajasthan, the Daboo Set celebrates the beauty of Dabu hand block printing, an age-old mud-resist printing technique known for its earthy character and beautifully imperfect finish.
In traditional Dabu printing, skilled artisans hand-stamp the fabric using carved wooden blocks and a specially prepared mud-based resist paste. The fabric is then dyed and washed, revealing the motifs where the resist prevented the colour from penetrating. Because every stage is carried out by hand, subtle variations, uneven impressions and tonal differences naturally become part of the fabric’s character.
Crafted in pure cotton, the kurti features muted mauve floral motifs with the soft, slightly weathered appearance characteristic of handcrafted Dabu textiles. The earthy palette is complemented by mauve organza cuffs with delicate scalloped embroidery, adding a refined feminine detail to the traditional print.
Paired with a contrasting Hakoba cotton Farshi salwar, the set combines heritage craftsmanship with a relaxed, contemporary silhouette—light, breathable and beautifully suited for everyday and occasion wear.
